5th Grade Annual Career Day

When: Wednesday, May 27, 2015

Where: 5th Grade Classrooms

Time: 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

12:30 P.M.  - 2:00 P.M.

Come and join us for our annual Career Day presentations. Students have researched careers of their choosing in order to prepare for this event.  They are excited about sharing their findings with you. Drop in and ask a few questions!  

*Only students who have fulfilled all requirements will participate. 

Vehicle Career Day

On Friday, 5th graders were able to interview various men and women in our community.  They questioned them about their careers and explored the vehicles each of the volunteers use daily.  This activity was organized by the guidance department.  A few of the boys were really interested in the Military Police and their canine friend.

The Great Depression, New Deal Posters. and the Testing Schedule

Students work hard to create New Deal posters for the Great Depression programs.  The posters were informative and creative. Stop by the room and take a look at a few!

After Spring Break, we will begin preparing for the state tests.  This year ALL fifth graders will take the science and social studies state test.  The students will also take the ELA/ Reading ASPIRE test.
