A Few End of the Year Notes

Our Future Leaders

Beginning Monday, June 8, Pontiac Elementary will be open Monday- Thursday and closed every Friday. 

Our office hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We will resume our normal schedule beginning Monday, August 3.  Our back to school night will be held on Monday, August 17 at 5:00 p.m. and our first day of school will be Wednesday, August 19.  Have a wonderful and safe summer!

5th Grade Annual Career Day

When: Wednesday, May 27, 2015

Where: 5th Grade Classrooms

Time: 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

12:30 P.M.  - 2:00 P.M.

Come and join us for our annual Career Day presentations. Students have researched careers of their choosing in order to prepare for this event.  They are excited about sharing their findings with you. Drop in and ask a few questions!  

*Only students who have fulfilled all requirements will participate. 

Vehicle Career Day

On Friday, 5th graders were able to interview various men and women in our community.  They questioned them about their careers and explored the vehicles each of the volunteers use daily.  This activity was organized by the guidance department.  A few of the boys were really interested in the Military Police and their canine friend.
